Writing Challenge - entry 10
Today is one of those days when this challenge is being a real challenge. Writing everything that I've written so far has not been very challenging. I haven't had trouble keeping the habit going, carving out the time or picking the topic. Today, however, I've been wrestling my mind into creative inspiration on the topic for today's entry. Perhaps being on the road of chronic sleep deprivation for a few days is having an effect on my creative thinking. So, in order to continue the challenge and the exercise, I've decided to write about the struggle of this challenge and in general, getting to a point in a challenge where going might get tough.
The struggle is real and I generally wouldn't want to write or rant about something just for the sake of completion. So the only way that I could find to write this entry without the self critical rant for the sake of ranting, I decided to write about the difficulty of picking a topic for today's writing. I have been given a collection of topics just for this occasion, but I can't get into gear for any of those. I've also considered writing about love of bread, depression of department stores, meditation with coffee, living room picnic and a few others, but still couldn't get on the track of the creative vein. I've also thought about publishing a post of writing computer code and how I consider it as writing, and creative writing at that. To explore the topic further, I've checked out the latest gamified learning tools for programmers and revisited some of the once I used once upon a time. I fell into the portal of recursion, unit tests, sorting and searching algorithms and few hours later still didn't come up with a good idea on how to write about this.
Coding entry is definitely going to happen though. Stand by for that. In the meantime, I hope that a day of light reflection and a break from my ranting and rambling will be beneficial to all of us.
